TPP is detrimental

Re the Feb. 5 article, Now comes the hard part: Winning approval for Trans-Pacific Partnership: President Obama seems to think that the Trans-Pacific Partnership is his moment.

This is when he pays off his debt to those who put him in the presidency. This isn’t a Ferguson an immigration moment, or a Syria or a gun-control moment. This is a test of his political skills and his allegiance to the forces of destruction.

TPP negotiations were conducted in secret because it was written by corporations for the benefit of corporations and the detriment of nations. If passed the deal will allow corporate tribunals to overrule Congress and violate the national sovereignty of the United Sates. The process will be authoritarian and not have an appeal process or exit provisions.

It’s a coup by multinational corporations that want global subservience to their agenda. TPP is a wolf in sheep’s clothes and must not pass.
