Rich friends
Daniel Ruth lambastes candidate Hillary Clinton in the Feb. 4 article Hillary Clinton’s rich friends are a problem for taking speaker fees. But he neglected to mention that Donald Trump charged $1.5 million per speech. Al Gore has having charged more than $100,000 per speech.
As for having “rich friends,” if millionaires want to pay me $200,000 for a speech that makes them feel better about themselves, sign me up. It doesn’t necessarily make us friends.
