Outrageous attorney fees
The Florida State University settlement in the Jameis Winston case represents a bigger issue that affects us all (FSU settles with Winston's accuser, Jan. 26).
When will society break free from the extortion and robbery committed by these so-called trial lawyers? In the FSU case, the lawyers took home more than twice what the plaintiff took. Where is the “day’s work for a day’s pay” concept in the legal field?
