Keep Obamacare

The Republican alternative to Obamacare (Affordable Care Act) is to take us back to the days when insurance companies and Big Pharma decided who lives and who dies. They want to deregulate insurance companies so that their bean counters are free to deny any claims and cap how much help an ill person receives before kicking him to the curb.

Republicans got rid of price controls and competitive bidding on medication and even pushed it through for Medicare as well. For the public good, our government used our tax dollars to fund Big Pharma’s research and yet it charges U. S. citizens up to 400 plus percent more for the same meds than they charge foreign markets.

Obamacare isn’t an insurance provider, but regulations that keep the greedy insurance locust from eating away the healthy savings and safety nets of living citizens.
