Rubio regressive

Instead of playing up his Catholic faith in video ads and with surrogates, Sen. Marco Rubio needs to read the small print in Article VI of the U.S. Constitution.

It says: “No religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

President Kennedy actively deflected the “Catholic test.”

Why, more than a half-century later, is Rubio pulling us backward?
