A new face on $20 bill
Re the debate over putting a woman on the $20, replacing President Andrew Jackson: Most breathing people know what the real issue is.
Does the Obama administration have the fortitude to replace the image of Andrew Jackson, a slave-holding, anti-capitalist, wanton killer of other human beings with the image of Harriet Tubman, black woman who led hundreds of slaves to freedom, outsmarted the entire Confederate establishment as a preeminent spy for the Union Army and was an adviser, confident and friend of Susan B. Anthony, who founded the movement that led to the liberation of all of the women of America?
Why wouldn’t it? Because that would mean that in the currency and conduct of America, black lives matter.
