Cuba’s bad credit
Some of the first things I learned during 42 years in banking was the “source of repayment” on credits, as well as the payment history of the borrower.
The repayment of credits by the government of communist Cuba has historically been slow to non-existent, something that the Washington brains should consider before granting credit to such bad debtors, unless they are counting on us, the taxpayers to eventually absorb it.
