Honor WW II patriots

I would like to thank two World War II-era heroes, whose deaths were reported Saturday: Navajo Code Talker Alfred Peaches, 90, and Stephanie Rader, 100, of the OSS, embody the sacrifice and dedication which sustains us all.

Amid the faux patriotism and chest thumping of some who stand in front of rows of American flags and degrade our democracy in their attempts to gain presidential power — and who may have never served — let us honor true patriots.
