Not my Miami

I was born in Miami in 1953. I moved back to assist my mother, who was also born in this city in 1930.

I recently had my car battery go bad. One man stopped to say he was impressed with the fact I had jumper cables in my trunk, being a female, asking if I knew how to use them.

With my hood and trunk open, a number of customers walked by and not one single sole offered assistance.

The people of Miami have become selfish and uncaring. Miami is no longer my Miami.
