One million will do
I was not one of the people who spent my hard-earned money trying to win a billion dollars with Powerball. I would be perfectly happy with having $1 million.
If you make $10 an hour and work 40 hours a week, how long would it take to earn $1 million? A little over 47 years and that’s if no income tax were taken out. If I started working on it now I would be 112 years old by the time I earned $1 million.
My only hope of having $1 million is to win the Florida Lotto. I’m going to play $1 for each Lotto drawing for the year, the drawings are Wednesday and Saturday: Total: $104. I should get a least some of it back in winnings, don’t you think?
So far this year we’ve had three drawings, and none of my number have been picked.
