Annual park pass

National parks offer a lifetime senior pass for $10, a deep discount off the normal $80 annual pass.

Florida state parks offer a $120 one-year pass with no discount offered to seniors.

Why? My impression after visiting dozens of Florida state parks on a one-year pass is that many are nearly vacant on weekdays.

It’s great that they offer entry discounts to veterans and members of law enforcement, but why no entry-fee or annual-pass discount for seniors?
