The people’s work

Congress should do its job, instead of looking at how to block the president and taking needless votes against Obamacare. It should tweak the program to make it work better for all Americans. Then it could turn its attention to far more important matters such as a declaration of war against ISIS, confirming judicial appointees, gun control and immigration reform.

Marco Rubio should ask all the questions he wants but, please, no more snarky, immature remarks. It’s all old news that he missed votes while campaigning for a new job on taxpayer dollars and helping his brother-in-law, a convicted drug felon, get a real-estate license. Maybe he missed the lesson in civics class that elected officials are supposed to work for the people.
