Prepare for bikers

As many Miami residents will volunteer at the annual boat show, please assure that bicycle racks will be in place on Virginia Key to lock our environmentally-friendly mode of transportation. The city’s bicycle coordinator may want to promote this wonderful bike ride opportunity.

Also, a traffic light or pedestrian crossing may need to be installed to allow bicycles and pedestrians to cross from the south/eastbound side of the Rickenbacker Causeway bike path, across the six or more lane highway, over to the boat show venue. This may prevent a horrible accident.
