Casino competition
I strongly support the Jan. 8 article, Gaming compact with tribe facing slim odds. It should be stopped in its tracks. This compact is the antithesis to the spirit that this country was built upon. Open competition allowing other gaming establishments that wish to operate table games should not only be allowed but encouraged.
The Seminoles should have never been permitted to have an exclusive compact in the first place. Competition is good for management, employees and its casino patrons.
