Suppressing voters?

I agree with lawyer Amaury Cruz that the latest move of the Elections Department could potentially be an attempt at voter suppression. The department’s official letter states that in order for my vote to count, the signature has to be exactly like the one they have on file.

When the time comes, how am I supposed to remember whether I spelled out my middle name or abbreviated it in my signature? Already forgot.

And we know from 2000 presidential election that Floridians can easily screw things up.
