New political party
The new Animal Power Party’s goal is to find elected officials, without involvement in any political agenda, who will honor our democratic way of life and support animal causes.
We feel that we have been betrayed by Mayor Carlos Gimenez as he has denied the implementation of the Pets’ Trust initiative, which we support, with his “animals are not his priority” comment.
He has lost my vote going forward because of his betrayal of the voters who approved some time ago in a straw vote that the community wanted the Pets’ Trust.
We have a strong, united voice, and we will vote our displeasure with this situation at the ballot box in the coming year.
