Change the law
The National Kidney Foundation figures published in October 2015 show that 615,000 Americans are being treated for ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease), yet the U.S. Congress has written in the Medicare Law a statute that prevents these Americans from changing their healthcare plan even though their present plan no longer meets their medical needs.
This is the only segment of the American population to be discriminated against in this way. Hopefully, this letter will prompt both of Florida's senators to act to remedy this gross injustice to Americans in dire need in 2016.
