Park’s protector
Re the Dec. 31 editorial, Preserving Crandon Park for the public: Bruce Matheson has been a scrupulous steward of the Crandon Park property for many years. Everyone owes him a debt of gratitude.
Without Matheson’s watchful eye and meticulous guardianship, this land no doubt would have become a private country club and a string of luxury, high-rise condos a long time ago.
