Don’t be stupid

I never thought that I’d read anything from Donald Trump that I agreed with completely until I read of his new TV ad. While I haven’t seen it yet — and probably won’t since I don’t live in Iowa or New Hampshire — a certain statement caught my eye: “The world is laughing at us. At our stupidity. It’s got to stop. We’ve got to get smart fast — or else we won’t have a country.”

I agree. The world may indeed be laughing at our stupidity, but only because a loud-mouthed demagogue has managed to rise so far in the polls. We do have to “get smart fast” to keep this 21-century fascism from really destroying our country.

Donald Trump doesn’t seem to care about solving the important issues facing our country or the world. It about his ego and control according to his will. The world already had that in the last century from many so called leaders. How did that work out for us?

Come on America, don’t be stupid.
