Traffic clogged

The Dec. 27 editorial, Traffic: Still bad, but ideas are flowing, about the “improvements” in Miami-Dade County traffic and the hiring of a traffic czar, was a joke!

Traffic is worse than ever, and the construction of thousands more residential units downtown and in Midtown will add even more cars on the road. There is no viable mass transportation, and there won’t be for decades to come, even if the will and funding existed — which they clearly do not.

To continue to permit increased density in an already clogged section of Miami is foolhardy and another example of greed run amok. Oh, and and let’s build a soccer stadium downtown while we at it!
