Best Globetrotter

Meadowlark Lemon was a great Harlem Globetrotters legend. He was known as the “Clown Prince of Basketball.” He brought his blend of hook shots and humor to millions of fans around the world. He played for the Globetrotters from the mid-1950s to the late 1970s. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003.

In 1986, he founded Meadowlark Lemon Ministries in Scottsdale, Arizona. Later in life, he became an ordained minister and motivational speaker, touring the country to meet with children at basketball camps and youth prisons.

We’ll remember Meadowlark as a great legend always and forever.
