No cooperation

Letter writer Jacqueline Stone tells us that Hillary Clinton has never “reached across the aisle” to unite this country.

Perhaps she can give an example of a Republican candidate who reached across and that did not risk losing his election odds for doing so.

Former Speaker John Boehner tried to do it, and look what happened to him.

Those who haven’t been willing to reach across the aisle are Republicans, and it has been so ever since an African-American man was elected president.
