Cruz endorsement

I was astonished by Miami-Dade Republican Vice Chairman Manny Roman’s lack of ethics in publicly endorsing any candidate — and disappointed in Sen. Ted Cruz for encouraging such a violation of trust and “oath-abiding.” However, I was most grievously insulted by the disrespect shown our progress in Miami-Dade County, and all of Florida, and to commitments within Republican organizations to not endorse, instead demonstrating a true allegiance to bottom-up grassroots politics where the people’s voices serve are at the top in importance, by not endorsing.

Certainly, we are all cognizant of the importance of Florida in national politics, and Miami-Dade as the largest voting bloc in the state. Such data do not give license to manipulate the voter, violate our oath or negate our progress toward sincere community engagement and voter respect.
