I’m sick and tired of the way voting-district lines are being drawn. Jim Morin’s Dec. 27 cartoon says it all. It just forgets to mention the wrong people are drawing those squiggles.
Demographers from “pick a university” should be drawing these districts. Where does it say race, creed or color should dictate how a district is made up? As long as these elements are the bane of the criteria to make a district, we will continue to get the ink-blot test districts that make no sense at all geographically.
