Abandoned pets
It is with horror that I view pictures on the web of abandoned, starved, injured and abused dogs dumped around the farms in the Redlands area of South Miami-Dade. Cruel beyond belief, and criminal.
People are selling dogs by the roadside in Homestead. Where is enforcement? Miami-Dade Animal Services is overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of surrendered and stray dogs, which leads to a high kill situation.
Surely, we’re not so Third World we can’t get a handle on this.
We need solutions, not more euthanasia.
