Disastrous world
The Dec. 17 letter, Unthinkable USA, is a typical leftist screed. The left is an ideology that has failed almost everywhere instituted, yet it believes that only what it thinks is correct and anybody who believes differently is racist, anti-women, anti-poor, and anti-environment.
It has created a tyranny of the politically correct which aims to squelch free speech, keep the poor from learning to help themselves, and arouse hate among the races and economic classes.
They indoctrinate college students. At Yale, once an excellent and tolerant school, students pushed out two professors for espousing reasonable views that offended some. Then, many signed a fake petition to repeal the First Amendment. Under the present Democratic administration, the poor, middle class and minorities situation has deteriorated.
The brave new world of “hope and change” is a disaster and freedom of speech is being replaced by resentment and violence.
