The series Beyond Punishment: A Miami Herald I-Team Investigation of Lowell Correctional Institution, is absolutely beyond magnificent.
I’ve never come near reading an investigation of this depth and magnitude.
In between my urges to inflict pain and suffering upon those responsible for raping, beating and killing these defenseless female inmates, I wept uncontrollably.
All those involved have put together a brilliant and comprehensive masterpiece that is extraordinarily creative, tragic and necessary.
The courage, magnanimity and determined pursuit of justice by those who dared to expose this murderous corruption places them in a distinguished position to be recognized with a Pulitzer Prize.
