A good Samaritan

Kudos to the young man who risked his life and his car to rescue someone’s pet dog on Dec. 20th in Plantation!

The dog apparently got out of his Jacaranda Lakes home and was trying to cross a busy North Pine Island Boulevard.

The young man stopped traffic, got out, and coaxed the dog back to the sidewalk. He used his cell phone to call the owners whose number was on the dog’s collar. Many drivers behind him stopped to see if they could help, and the story had a happy ending.

The owner came and retrieved his dog. This young man deserves a special Thank You!
