Exposing wrong
The Miami Herald is to be commended for its thorough and surely expensive and time-consuming investigations disclosing the injustices foisted upon the most voiceless and powerless groups in society: prisoners and disabled children.
Who will expose these abuses in the absence of a tenacious, smart, dedicated local press?
These exposés merit residents’ support for our local press — via subscriptions. At the least.
