Needless shooting

Re the Dec. 10 article Cop who fired shot has clean record: In my opinion, David Winesett was not a threat. Having worked in law enforcement for more than 30 years, his shooting was completely uncalled for.

And, police wonder why most people have a dislike for police agencies. As far as an investigation goes, everyone knows how it is going to turn out — it will be another so-called justified killing.
