Once again the Castro brothers proved that they are better at navigating foreign policy than the last eight presidents of the United States.
Raúl Castro had promised that he would get the three murdererous Cuban spies in U.S. prisons released before the end of 2014. He did it.
Every time there is a policy change with Cuba, the winners appear to be the Castro brothers. President Obama thinks that change will come in Cuba with what he he did. He’s wrong. The truth is that nothing will happen because Raúl will still use the excuse that the embargo is being enforced.
He knows very well that with Republican majorities in the U.S. Senate and the House, the embargo will never be lifted, at least not in the near future.
