Neediest children
I read with horror the actions of the Florida Department of Health Administration, which is very busy cutting funding and support for the weakest among us — children, poor, disabled, autistic, blind, gravely ill young people, while Children’s Medical Service struggles to care for all those in need.
The state’s answer is our budget. Gov. Rick Scott has proposed that we eliminate 109 jobs from CMS such as doctors, nurses, and caregivers.
What a warm, compassionate, fuzzy governor the state of Florida has.
