Death as art?
I am a regular visitor to the Art Basel Miami Beach, and this year the exhibition was better than ever.
Galleries from London and Brazil were outstanding, but there was a sad corner. In the Positions area, there was an exhibition with Erlenmeyer flasks with beautiful little fish in each one. And they were dying. You can see them slowly suffocating; there was no oxygen for them to breath. Some were dead already. We left with our hearts broken. It was cruelty, not art.
