San Bernardino killers, Syed Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, seemed to be emulating the Paris attacks.
They were heavily armed with assault-style and semiautomatic weapons and explosive devices; their attack was well-planned and well-coordinated. They wore tactical gear, were homegrown terrorists like many of the Paris attackers and looked like they wanted to attack several sites. They were possibly on their way to commit another attack before they were killed in a police shootout.
It is scary that amateur lone-wolf terrorists could cause so much damage and amass so many deadly weapons. They were a two-person army, a modern version of Bonnie and Clyde.
