Honor military dogs
President Obama vetoed a bill Congress passed that would have saved hundreds of our four-footed veterans from abandonment or death in foreign lands.
These hard-working, self-sacrificing service dogs were sent to Afghanistan or other war-torn countries where they were trained to put their lives on the line for their human counterparts. I thought I voted twice for a president who cared more about doing the right thing than shaving a few dollars off the budget at the expense of allowing these dogs to be euthanized or worse.
