Beepless SunPass

While I wholeheartedly agree with Fabiola Santiago’s Dec. 13 column, As tolls rise, Florida shorts Miami, she ends on an out-of-date note. The new SunPass transmitters come without the “beep” that we used to hear.

Now the transmitters are noiseless, so you don’t even know how many tolls you’re racking up. All part of the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority’s plan?
