Bad Marlins move
Just when you think the Miami Marlins cannot sink any lower, they somehow manage to dig deeper. Firing Tommy Hutton is an absolute travesty.
Hutton and Rich Waltz have great synergy and make meaningless games, by a less-than-ordinary team, worthwhile and engaging. I hope Hutton’s 50-plus years of insight are not misconstrued as unfair criticism and a reason not to bring him back.
Another classy move by the Marlins was firing a guy who has been on the job for 19 years a few days before Thanksgiving.
