Stem the tide
I commend Michael Putney for his Nov. 25 column, It’s time to rescind the Cuban Adjustment Act. It is time to stop the abuse by Cubans who are landing on our shores expecting to be taken care of by the government. Many of them return to Cuba.
My family and I came here in the 1960s, all of us with approved green cards. We have never asked for government aid and we all became American citizens. We have never returned to Cuba.
