Terrorists at home

My prayers go out to the victims and the families of the recent terror attacks in Paris.

France was our first ally, and we need to do everything we can to help them. That said, I want to call out our elected officials who are looking at this as definitive proof that we need to send in ground troops to Syria to protect ourselves. We know that some ISIS-inspired terrorists, possibly U.S. citizens, are already here. We know this because they have been getting arrested and prosecuted for taking steps to go fight with ISIS.

Yet, for those who remain here, elected officials will do nothing to prevent them from obtaining assault rifles without even so much as a background check. It appears as though they aren’t as concerned with our safety as they would have us believe. I’m tired of being addressed as though I cannot think, and I’m calling out these elected officials for their phony rhetoric.
