Grove is a jewel

Re the Nov. 29 article Grove neighbors unite to save home: On Jan. 2, 2014, many concerned citizens gathered at Miami City Hall to oppose the destruction of the St. Gaudens Road jewel, which represents craftsmanship, artistry and charm built in 1922.

This Mediterranean beauty must remain as is, not only for our current generation, but for many more to come so that they can admire and be grateful for the integrity of those responsible for preserving this jewel.

I urge residents to come to the deferred hearing being held by the Historic Preservation Board at 3 p.m., Jan. 6, 2015 at City Hall. Our presence will make a big difference.
