Childish penny antic
Re the Nov. 8 story, Hialeah mayor pays $4K fine with coins: How do we manage to keep electing these clowns to office?
Hialeah Mayor Carlos Hernandez decided to show the Miami-Dade Ethics Commission a thing or two about paying fines by sending bucket loads of nickels and pennies for his $4,000 fine for lying to the public about his business activities with a known swindler.
Instead of admitting the error in his judgment, he chooses to pull this childish stunt. It’s ironic that Hernandez called the commission a political circus when in reality he’s the biggest clown in the circus. It’s a shame that taxpayers are paying his salary while he exhibits this behavior when caught red-handed.
