The Senate Intelligence Committee’s release of the CIA torture report will put at risk the lives of U.S. intelligence personnel and foreign citizens, especially in the Middle East, who helped us obtain important information.
I’m sure that the information was released for political reasons, but the unintended effect will be disastrous for our friends and will discourage anyone from helping us gather intelligence in the future.
