Starbucks Christmas

Apparently the “war on Christmas” has now reached the dispensable coffee container used by Starbucks.

Because it now uses a red paper cup with only its logo for the holiday season, Starbucks is now under attack for not also including some religious symbols on the cups in recognition of Christmas.

How this is construed as an assault on Christmas is beyond reason.

Christians have nothing to fear. One out of every six people in this world is Christian. As for Christmas always being celebrated in America, it should be remembered that in Puritan New England, in the 17th century, it was illegal to celebrate it. Christmas didn’t become the commercial event, that it now enjoys, until the middle of the 18th century, when enterprising businessmen saw the opportunity.
