Violence in Israel

Carole Burnett’s anti-Israel letter is full of misstatements and half-truths.

It is noteworthy that the U.S. House of Representatives just unanimously passed a resolution condemning Palestinian leadership's incitement to violence, noting direct correlation to upsurge in violence and this incitement.

She quotes an Israeli minister referring to Palestinian children as little snakes, but neglects to mention the quote referred to youths martyred while attacking Israel.

She tries to compare the deliberate murder of Israeli children by Palestinians to the deaths suffered in Gaza in a war in which a British military expert stated that more care was taken by the IDF to avoid civilian casualties than any war in history.

There have been aggressive actions by Israelis but these are condemned, investigated and prosecuted. Mahmoud Abbas, on the other hand, ordered full military honors at terrorist funerals and grants to their families.
