Re the Nov. 3 article Chip credit cards could slow holiday shopping: Why are retailers not concerned about the greater amounts of time shoppers spend searching for digital coupons on their hand-held devices?
This wastes much more time than the few moments it takes to wait for the chip to register.
Why don’t stores start dedicated checkout lines for people with chip-equipped credit cards and for those who think they might have digital coupons?
