Without fear for everyone
All you need to do is turn on the local television news and watch the crime being inflicted on law-abiding citizens.
The culture of silence does not root out the element of those individuals intent on engaging in criminal behavior.
Fabiola Santiago in her Nov. 26 column, Ferguson’s angst familiar to South Florida, regarding the lack of an indictment and the injustice in Ferguson, quoted Miami lawyer Marlon Hill referring to two-thirds of the population: “All we want is to live our lives without our very presence being a threat.”
Well, that works both ways!
