Pandering to ‘mob’ doesn’t work

The Nov. 26 editorial, Justice for all?, is so far off base it’s hard to know where to start. First of all, the headline is misleading, as the thrust is more about procedure than legality and the search for the truth. Justice isn’t served by pandering to the mob or the wishes of parents and talking heads.

Florida caved in the Zimmerman case and an unnecessary trial was held. A special prosecutor was appointed, as the “noise” demanded. After all the pandering, a trial was held. After the verdict, there was the same inane reaction. So what was accomplished?
