There’s power in voting
Is voting power precious? If African Americans, who make up the majority of the population in Ferguson, Missouri, had exercised their power at the ballot box over the years, would the tragedy of Michael Brown’s death have been averted? Perhaps there would be a police force that reflected and was sensitive to the residents.
I think the statistics of white police shooters and African-American targets suggests the answer.
