Blue Cross increase
My husband and I, 88 and 89, are insured by Medicare and Federal Blue Cross as our secondary insurer. Recently, we found out our Federal Blue Cross rate is being increased from $462.17 to $516.18 per month. Seniors cannot afford this huge increase. We should also get an increase in Social Security.
The government is basing the increase on gas prices. That’s wrong! Seniors do not buy much gas. Medicines and food prices are greatly inflated.
Legislators must increase Social Security to seniors and reduce insurance costs for us.
