Kudos to Graciela Catasus’ Nov. 9 letter, Auctions, not elections.
What an ingenious suggestion to change our electoral process from elections to auctions.
This new procedure would have the same result and would allow the millions of dollars now wasted on negative campaign ads to be given to worthwhile charitable organizations servicing the homeless, animals, environmental groups or CARE USA, the international organization fighting poverty around the world.
